Meet Zoey
She’s not the bravest girl… but she might be the one who needs you the most!
Zoey is young, gentle, and so full of love—but she’s never really had the stability she deserves. Because of that, she can be a little unsure when she first arrives in a new home. Zoey needs someone patient who is willing and able to work with her. She was abandoned in a cage 24/7 and had little human contact, now that she has experienced love, she is finding it very hard to adjust without her people, thinking she will be abandoned again. Zoey needs someone home most of the time, she does not cope well on her own.
She adores other dogs and would thrive with a kind, confident canine companion to help guide her. She’s also a beautiful first dog for someone who understands that building trust is part of the journey.
Zoey doesn’t need perfection—she just needs someone willing to give her a chance.
Gentle, affectionate & calm
Dog-friendly (would love a companion)
Needs a stable, consistent home
She may take some time to settle… but she is so worth the wait.
If you’ve been looking for a dog to truly connect with—this is your girl.

HEALTH WAIVER:
During Zoey’s spey surgery, the veterinarian noticed that she bled more than expected for this type of routine procedure. A test was performed during surgery that measures how long it takes blood to clot. Zoey’s result showed that her blood takes much longer than normal to clot.
It needs to be noted that for any future surgeries that Zoey may be at higher risk of bleeding and the adopters vet should be notified prior to any surgeries. Apart from this Zoey has been absolutely fine after desexing and has healed well.
