Hi! My name is Zelda and even though I’ve had a difficult start to life I am a happy, playful pup who just wants someone to love me as much as I’ll love you.
I’m still learning about the world and might be a little timid when we first meet but when we get to know each other I’m all for cuddles! I also happily sleep in my crate.
When I’m not snuggling up to you I like to be out in the yard running around with my 2 foster siblings. Toys are still new to me but I’m keen to chase a ball and play in water. I even like my cat friend - though they aren’t really interested in playing. I love to play with kids and run around with them. Once I’m tired out from running around I like to sit and observe what’s happening around me in the afternoon sun.
In my short time with my foster family I have learnt to sit and even shake hands sometimes! I’m a smart girl and can’t wait to learn some new tricks. I am gentle when offered treats and my toilet training is going very well.
As I’ve never really been by myself I would be suited to a home with another doggy friend to keep me company when my people aren’t home. I like having someone to play with and nap next to. I might be a little shy if my fur friend is bigger than me but once I know they will be patient and gentle, we will be friends forever.
