Winston is an affectionate, happy dog that loves getting lots of cuddles. He loves people so much that he sometimes forgets his size and thinks he is a lap dog. He knows how to sit and gently takes treats from your hand and walks like a dream on a lead.
Winston plays well with other dogs of medium/large size. He is a quiet dog that loves playing with his toys, especially those with a squeaker or tug-of-war.
Although Winston has a basic level of obedience, he will benefit from extra training and as he is food motivated, he is happy to learn. Winston lacked training in his first year of life so is still adjusting and prefers to be with his human as much as possible. For these reasons, Winston requires someone home more often than not who can include him in their active lifestyle, in a household with secure 6 foot fencing.
Winston will be the most loyal companion to a family who can show him continued guidance and give him the chance he deserves.
