Don't let the name fool you; Vader is 110% firmly from the good side. He's far more Anikin than Darth.
He's a gorgeous, well-mannered, couch potato.
Vader will greet you at the door with a hearty awooooo before snuggling up ON you; happy to hear all about your day in exchange for a few scratches. He is a super gentle boy; taking treats with great care and even when he's weaselling his way into your lap despite your computer or book.
While we don't know much about his past we can say he's now very much both an inside and outside dog as he's quickly made himself a part of the family and furniture. Napping appears to be a favourite pass time; the couch, his bed, the floor, your bed, doesn't matter where.
But it's not all lap dog luxury; he's made fast friends with our rambunctious 2.5yo working dog, zipping around the yard after toys and playing in the middle of the lounge room. He has not shown any aggression towards other dogs or people, though his exposure has been minimal.
He's a bright and happy doggo that's eager to please and should be a breeze to train, having picked up the habits of our house with ease. He hasn't been trained before, but is definitely not rebellious in spirit. Vader has learned to sit, and wait before eating dinner. He's been happy taking his cue from the other doggo of the house and even managed to set his own good example tempering a little of her youthful exuberance with his calming presence.
Vader is 'somewhat' toilet trained. If he has access to the outside he'll go there, but he's not quite figured out how to ask or open the door yet. Despite this, we have only had one accident.
He's happiest when he's surrounded by people and pets and would benefit from a home that has a reasonable amount of occupation. But Vader isn't fussy; he'll happily supervise the hustle and bustle of kids or you working from home all from his spot, or amuse himself during days when you aren't around, hopefully with a brother or sister.
What's to love;
he's the chill-est, snuggly-est, gentle-est good boy
he's eager to please, responsive to treats, and very clever so will be a breeze to train
he doesn't fight the bath
he doesn't mind the vet, hardly even flinching at his recent vaccinations
he's up for a chat but slow to bark
he's not afraid of the robot vacuum
he's very patient with his furry friends
he's not trained but has been responsive to our training
I am 5 years old.
