I'm ready for my new family!

Hi all, my name is Toby! I’m so excited and ready to find my forever home! 

 

I’m currently in care with my foster sister (Female Cattle Dog) and we have so much fun playing chase and lounging around waiting for our humans.

 

Placid, independent and goofy sums me up to a tea. I’m happy doing my own thing but I also love having a play with dogs or lounging around on the couch. I have also learnt how to fetch and return, it has become one of my favourite activities.

 

I was a little let down in terms of basic training so I got a little nervous/confused when I was first learning to sit but with trust and patience I got the hang of it. I spend most of my time outside but come inside for some down time on the couch and to see what my humans are up to in the kitchen, I sleep inside in my crate at night without a peep or on my bed beside my humans.

 

Although I am independent and brave when it comes to watching over the house I can be a little shy when meeting new people but it doesn’t take me long to warm up once I know they are safe and provide yummy treats. My foster parents think I’ll be a loyal companion to someone that is willing to open up their heart and home to me. Due to my timid nature I will open up easier with a confident dog friend.
