Hello! My name is Tiana, and I am a real princess!
Being a Staffy X, I am a people puppy all the way. My beautiful brindle coat and happy demeanour melt the hearts of all who meet me! I enjoy going on small walks, to cafes, and browsing the markets where I know I’ll get all the pats and treats. I would thrive in a family or be a perfect companion dog for a single person with an active lifestyle.
I live with my cat brother, whom I love to play with so any dog friendly cats would suit me! I am also good with other dog friends.
I love going on adventures in the car or long strolls with my foster mum, so I would love to come with you anywhere you go. I am fine being by myself as long as there is a toy to chew or a lick-mat to keep me occupied – usually, I’ll just hang out in my crate or lounge around the house. Speaking of my crate, it is one of my favourite places! I get all my meals, and like to hoard my toys in the corner when I go to sleep at night; I go “in the crate” on command and am happy chilling out there whenever you want me to.
I am eager to please, food motivated, and very obedient, so training me has been a breeze for my foster mum. I’ve learnt tricks in 15 minutes and am learning more every day. I know how to “sit” on command, “wait” for food or to cross the road, “lie down”, “shake” paws, play “dead”, “look both ways” before I cross the street, go “between” my mum’s legs when she needs me to be out of the way, and “around” when I am on the wrong side her.
I have ample experience at coffee shops where my more niche commands like “between” and “around” come in real handy. I also know “this way” and “c’mon” when I get distracted on walks, and “come here” for recall.
I am fully toilet-trained, go “wee wees” on command, and will knock on the door to be let outside when I need to.
Being in foster care has been fun, but I would love to find my fur-ever home with you!
HEALTH WAIVER:
Tiana has been diagnosed with an old fracture to her lumbar vertebrae. It is unknown how or when this injury was sustained.
She has received a number of x-rays to ensure the fracture is healing well - her body is stabilising the fracture and she is managing very well. Despite this injury she remains a happy, bright and lovely little pup.
Tiana will require her new owners to monitor her and ensure she does not jump on/off furniture. She will require a home that has low/medium energy levels.
