Tex truly doesn’t have a bad bone in his body. He’s a loving, gentle and affectionate young dog with a big heart to match his size. At 1 year old and 22kg, he still thinks he’s a lap dog!
Tex absolutely adores people. He loves to snuggle and will happily lie right on top of you, soaking up all the affection he can get. When you come home, expect the most enthusiastic greeting imaginable—Tex will act like you’ve been gone for months, not minutes!
He gets along very well with other dogs and is generally good with cats and kittens too. He’s not a fussy eater and shows no food guarding at all. Grooming is no problem for Tex—he doesn’t mind baths or brushing, and belly rubs are his favourite thing in the world.
Tex is a quiet boy and rarely barks, except if he’s confined (such as in a crate) so is happiest in the backyard and not confined. He travels well in the car, loves playing with his toys, and walks beautifully on a lead.
Tex would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time and/or where he has another dog companion to keep him company. In return, he’ll give you endless affection, loyalty, and joy.
