Slater is a sweet and affectionate Bull Arab x puppy who really loves to cuddle. He is easy going and confident, quick to warm up to new people and dogs. He really loves spending time with his people and having playtime with other dogs, but also does well on his own, happy to relax in his crate or entertain himself in the yard. He absolutely loves snuggling in bed on lazy weekend mornings and cuddling on the lounge together, Slater's favourite place to be is cuddled up right beside you.
Slater is crate trained and settles quickly without fuss, he often goes into the crate by choice for a nap and sleeps silently in his crate all night. He has been good in the car, settling straight away. He is having a lot of success with toilet training including learning to toilet on command but will need to continue working on this skill in his new home. Slater is very food motivated and eager to learn, he knows "sit", will sit for his meals, comes straight away to his name and is doing really well learning good manners. With continued training this clever boy would really thrive.
In his current foster home Slater lives with a 4 year old child, a 13 year old cat, a 9 month old male dog and a 9 year old male dog. He's good with kids, he loves cuddling on the lounge with his 4 yr old human foster brother and playing with toys together. He is unbothered by loud noises and excitement, happy to join in playing but calms down well when it's time to settle. He is good with cats, curious but gentle and respectful.
