Hey there, my name is Sassy!
Although I am very shy, I have the biggest heart. I can be left at home when you go to work however will need another dog friend in my household, and boy do I get excited when my family comes home, even if I do keep my distance.
I love play time with my dog friends. There is also a resident cat in my foster home who I'm friendly with, although he isn't overly interested in getting to know me.
Being a young puppy, I will need plenty of toys. I love food so be easily enticed with treats, this should make me a great student during obedience training.
My toilet training is progressing well and providing I have access to outdoors, I won't have accidents. I am crate trained as that's my safe space and I'm learning to take myself there for bed each night.
My foster mum has tried to introduce me to the concept of lead walking but I am not quite ready yet so I will need some patience, I feel very scared if I am forced to do anything I'm not ready for.
I am very timid so will require alot of patience, time, space and reassurance to develop my trust. I am not a puppy that will immediately approach you for snuggles and will require an understanding family to give me that time to adjust. However once we have bonded, I'll be the most loyal and loving companion. I just need someone to give me a chance to show me I'm safe.
