Rusty can initially be quite shy however soon warms up and shows his true affectionate nature, often climbing into his human's lap for a cuddle.
Rusty is doing very well with his obedience training and now knows to 'Sit' and shows great recall when called. He does love his food which makes him an attentive student during his training and he is very gentle when taking treats. Rusty would love for his new family to continue his training and guide him to reach his full potential.
Rusty's ideal home will have another small female dog friend to keep him company and a family that were home more often than not, he will also require secure fencing at the bottom. If you can show this boy some patience and guidance, he will make the most loyal and loving companion for his very lucky forever family.
HEALTH WAIVER: Rusty came into care with itchy skin. He had a cytopoint injection which has relieved his itch. He may require another one in a few months time to ease his itch. They are generally about $100.
