Rusty is a gentle giant that has never met a stranger he doesn’t LOVE. He has a sweet, friendly nature and enjoys being part of the family.
Rusty is great with children, though he can sometimes forget just how big he is, so he would be best suited to a home with kids aged 8 and over.
Rusty gets along wonderfully with the household cat and absolutely loves playing with other medium to large-sized dogs. Whether it's a game of chase or a play session with canine friends, he's always happy to join in.
He is fully toilet trained and copes very well when left on his own. Give him a comfy bed and he's content to snooze until his family returns home. Rusty loves his toys and enjoys a game of fetch, but if he had to choose a favourite activity, tug-of-war would definitely be at the top of the list!
Rusty also enjoys his daily walks and is a lovely companion on lead. He has adjusted well to wearing a Halti and walks beautifully. He travels well in the car and is always happy to tag along for adventures.
Overall, Rusty is a wonderful, low-maintenance dog who simply loves being with his people. He has so much love to give and would make an incredibly loyal companion for the lucky family that welcomes him home.
