Hi, I'm Rusty! I may be large in size but I’m calm by nature. If the dictionary needed a photo for the term gentle giant then they would be knocking on my door!
I love my humans and get really excited when I see them. I could play tug of war all day and don't mind a good game of fetch although I don't like to give the ball back just yet. My foster mum says I'm getting great at walking on the halti and walking calmly. I do need some work with some manners but I'm trying hard and picking things up quickly.
I'm great with other dogs and although I haven't formally met the household cat I don't react to it, so should be ok with dog savvy cats that don’t run.
I’m best with older kids over 10 years as I do get excited and I am a bigger boy. I absolutely love car rides and I am up for any adventures. I don’t bark a lot just when there is someone strange handing around. I prefer to be inside especially when it storms - I do need some reassurance from my humans but otherwise I am fine.
