Ruby is such a sweet, amazing, loving dog, and she really deserves the most perfect home when she’s ready!
Ruby is a well balanced, friendly and amazingly affectionate dog. She gets along with everyone she meets including other dogs (big and small), cats, children and is even good with farm animals (she completely ignores them).
Ruby would do well with another dog to play with, she has taken a special fondness to her Dachshund brother.
She will need someone home often and secure 5-6ft fencing.
HEALTH WAIVER: Ruby arrived in our care 3 months ago with chronic skin issues as well as being heavily pregnant. Her skin is now under control with injections of Depo-medrol - we recommend she have this injection every few months to maintain the flare up of her allergies. This is only $40 per injection and lasts a few months.
Ruby also has aural (ear) hematomas that have already been drained to the best of the vets ability. This should require no further treatment unless trauma is caused (another dog nibbling on her ears etc).
