Meet Rowan, This gorgeous boy is everything you'd expect from a happy, healthy puppy. He's playful, energetic, curious, affectionate and has a cheeky side that will leave you laughing.
He's fantastic with other dogs and loves spending time with children. Being a growing boy, he hasn't quite figured out how big he is yet, so his enthusiasm can occasionally get the better of him. He's still learning to keep all four paws on the ground when excited, but he's a clever little fellow who seems to pick up new tricks and commands remarkably quickly.
He's extremely food motivated, which makes training a breeze. If you've got treats, you've got his attention!
He's already toilet trained, walks nicely on the lead, and rarely barks. He's also shown very little interest in the resident cats, although he hasn't been properly introduced to them face-to-face, so his compatibility with cats remains untested at this stage.
Despite his playful nature, he's also a world-class sook.
Once the zoomies are out of his system, there's nothing he loves more than a good snooze and a cuddle. He's particularly fond of sitting beside his humans, although his interpretation of "beside" generally involves parking himself directly on your feet. Personal space is clearly not something he believes in.
Being such a people-loving boy, he does get lonely when left alone and has been known to cry for company. He hasn't been tested on his own for extended periods, so his ideal forever home would be with a family who are home regularly, or perhaps one with another friendly dog to keep him company.
Like any six-month-old puppy, he'll benefit from continued training, patience, plenty of playtime, and a family who appreciates that growing up is a work in progress.
