Where most Collies would prefer to be sporting pals and loveable athletes, Rommy is a gentle soul. He is a loyal boy who is happiest when quietly keeping you company — whether that’s snoozing at your feet, taking slow strolls, or watching the world go by from a sunny patch in the yard.
Rommy truly thrives with human connection and would suit someone who’s home more often than not. With all the love he has to give, he prefers the comfort of knowing his person is nearby.
He’s currently learning that his beloved feline siblings don’t need herding, and while he’s making progress, he’ll do best with patient guidance and slow introductions to other cats. He is indifferent toward other dogs and much prefers the company of his person. Rommy isn’t keen on being groomed at the moment so a volunteer groomer is taking it very slow with him and teaching him that being brushed and pampered is nothing to be fearful of.
