Pixie is a gorgeous Cavalier King Charles Spaniel x Chihuahua who weighs just under 5kg. This sweet little lady has a gentle nature and quickly captures the hearts of everyone she meets.
Pixie loves all the good things in life – cuddles on the couch, gentle pats, sniffy walks, tasty kibble, and spending time with her people. She is affectionate, loyal, and happiest when she feels safe and secure with those she trusts.
When Pixie first arrived in care, she was very timid and unsure of her surroundings. With patience, kindness, and a few days to settle in, she blossomed into the lovely companion she is today. While she can be nervous around new people and unfamiliar dogs initially, she warms up quickly when introductions are calm and gentle.
Because of her sensitive nature, Pixie would thrive in a quieter home where life is predictable and peaceful. She may be particularly well suited to a retired person or older couple who can provide the calm environment she needs to feel confident and secure. A busy household with lots of noise and activity may be overwhelming for her.
