I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Pepper

We're happy to tell you that Pepper has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Pepper is confident, courageous and obsessed with water. She loves the beach, the hose and her pool. Being long coated she does feel the heat and swimming is her preferred way to cool down, however she is open to playing with her squeaky toys in the aircon also.

Pepper enjoys going for short walks and welcomes new adventures, however her favourite part is the car ride. She is the perfect road-trip companion and will sleep the entire journey.

She is intelligent, food motivated and knows the commands sit, wait, shake and drop. She walks quite well on her lead and is generally pretty happy to welcomes pats from strangers however can be reactive to other dogs.

Although Pepper prefers submissive dogs, she does have a dominant temperament so requires slow introductions. Once she has accepted her new friend, she loves to play wrestle!

Pepper could be suited as an only dog if her owners were home more often than not. She loves showing her loyalty by pottering alongside her companion throughout their daily chores and would make a fabulous mate for someone who works from home.

Although Pep is playful, she is relatively low energy and is satisfied with a daily walk, some tug of war and entertaining herself with her soft squeaky toys.

The ideal home for this beach-bum will be confident with Pepper’s breed and provide her with continued socialisation and training so she can reach her full potential.

There will be no dog more loyal than Pepper!

HEALTH WAIVER: Before coming into our care Pepper fractured her right femoral diaphysis (middle femur bone). The fracture was repaired at VSS using a 2.7mm locking plate with locking screws which has now been removed. Pepper has spent the last 4 months in our care healing and she has fully recovered.

NOTE - they said she will possibly be looking at early arthritis as she ages but otherwise the injury should have no further impact.

I am 6 months old.
