Inside the home, Penny thrives on being part of the family. She loves spending time indoors, enjoys a good cuddle, and could happily lie with you for hours soaking up scratches—one of her favourite things. She sleeps well overnight in her secure crate and is both crate trained and house trained.
Penelope would suit an active household—someone who enjoys daily walks, play sessions, and mental enrichment. She would struggle being left alone all day and would love a home where she can be included in daily life and activities.
She has lived happily with other dogs of all sizes and is quite submissive and respectful with canine companions. She has fitted in beautifully with her foster dog siblings. Penny could live with another dog or be an only dog soaking up all the attention—either would suit her well.
Penelope would likely do best with older children (12+ or teenagers). Due to her size and enthusiastic jumping, younger children may find her too much until she has completed further training.
