Introducing Lady Paprika (‘Preeka’), the epitome of good things coming in small packages.
If being a model or a therapy dog is considered ‘work’ then Paprika definitely lives up to the ‘working dog’ breed name. This is an incredibly gentle and sweet girl who would much prefer to give you a snuggle than herd a sheep. She would be much more likely to snuggle said sheep..
Paprika is VERY tiny, weighing in at just over 10kg and really is a shorty.
She doesn’t jump and isn’t overbearing when meeting new people. She will however twerk her little bottom and her stumpy tail in the cutest of ways that will melt the toughest of hearts.
Paprika is very low energy and truly is a chilled out sweetheart who just wants a human to snuggle with. She would happily lay quietly at your feet, or on your lap, all day if you let her. With that said, she is happy to go outside if she has a dog friend to chase around and keep her company and does settle herself nicely outside.
She sleeps in her crate overnight and will only stop the endearing snoring upon you waking her up.
She can initially be a little timid but she shakes this quite quickly. She is quite unsure about being on a lead and needs ongoing training to help her understand ‘walkies’ really will open up adventurous possibilities for her! She is also apprehensive about getting in/out of the car however travels beautifully once in the vehicle.
Paprika would benefit from having another dog sibling to help her grow in confidence. She has gotten on very well with both male and female dogs and her favourite games are to chase them or play tug of war with them.
This petite little gem has nothing but love and sweetness to spread around and will make the perfect addition to the right family for her.
