Pablo is a true gentleman with a kind heart. When I first picked him up, he was unsure and a little scared, but he still wagged his tail at me, showing his gentle nature.
When he arrived at our home, he hid under the couch for a while. But as he started to settle in, he would come out, explore the house, and then return to his safe spot. The couch has become his comfort zone, where he feels secure and relaxed.
Pablo loves affection, especially gentle pats under his chin and behind his ears. As he gained confidence, he began responding to calls and clapping, happily coming out of his hiding place for cuddles.
One of his favorite spots is the porch, where he enjoys sniffing the air and watching the world go by.
Pablo is good with dogs and cats, though he doesn’t engage in play. He would suit another low energy dog friend who is just happy in their own space.
He is still learning how to play. He doesn’t quite understand toys yet, possibly because he never had them before. When my dog plays, he watches with curiosity but isn’t sure how to join in.
Pablo loves having people around him and feels safest when he’s not alone. Because of this, he would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time.
He has recently started to enjoy bath time, especially the gentle massages around his ears and neck. As long as you pour water over his head gently, he stays calm. However, he doesn’t like the hairdryer, as the loud noise scares him.
