Rio is a beautiful 6-year-old Border Collie with a gentle soul and a heart full of love and loyalty, just waiting for his forever home. He is turning 7 in June.
He greets everyone he meets with a wagging tail and a kind friendly nature. Rio is wonderful with children of all ages, patient and gentle, and he also gets along well with cats, he’s the kind of dog who simply wants to be part of the family.
True to his breed, Rio would absolutely thrive in a home with space. Whether it’s a large backyard or a property on acreage, he would love having room to explore, stretch his legs and enjoy the outdoors by your side. He’s not demanding, he just enjoys being included in whatever you’re doing.
He still has a lovely playful side and will happily chase a tennis ball for as long as you’re willing to throw it, always bringing it back with enthusiasm. And when the day is done, Rio is all about companionship, cuddles, gentle pats, and quietly relaxing beside you.
