If you’re dreaming of a great big teddy‑bear of a dog who lives for cuddles, Oakley is your guy. He’s an absolute delight to have around and shows his affection by gently leaning against you, just wanting to be close.
Oakley is a calm, loving companion. He adores squeaky toys and will happily entertaining himself when needed.
He’s currently learning to curb his enthusiasm on lead and is making lovely progress. Oakley prefers being indoors where he can be close to his people and is surprisingly unfazed by storms. He’s shown excellent recall and would truly thrive with continued training to help him reach his full potential. Oakley will require 5-6ft fencing to keep him safe.
Oakley can be timid with new people at first and needs a bit of time to trust but once he does, he is deeply loyal and affectionate. His perfect evening involves sleeping on your feet while you watch a movie or gazing up at you adoringly as you scratch behind his ears.
Oakley is a sensitive, loving soul who will form a strong bond with his humans. For the right family willing to give him patience, guidance, and plenty of affection, he’ll be an incredibly devoted and rewarding companion.
