Nugget is a beautifully natured 7-year-old male English Staffy X. He is incredibly laid-back and loves being with his humans, receiving all the affection. Nugget is content to spend a large amount of his day cuddled up in a blanket, meeting new people, and getting all the pats he can. He has a very gentle demeanour, which has been observed by many people. He enjoys being alongside children and has a very high tolerance of affection.
Nugget is house-trained, and if you have a dog door, he is happy to come and go as he pleases. He loves rolling around in the grass throughout the day and does it on walks around the block when he’s feeling especially playful. He doesn’t need long walks, but looks forward to getting out of the house once a day.
He would best suit someone who is home often or would be a great companion for another calm dog. Nugget can be a little defensive around hyperactive or territorial male dogs, so he would best suit a calm female dog who just enjoys company. He enjoys taking car rides and is content to sit or lie down throughout the entire trip. Please note that he does not get along with cats.
HEALTH WAIVER: Nugget has a mild contact allergy to certain types of grass however this is managed with using medicated shampoo (Malaseb) if he gets irritated during spring.
