Nike is an adorable and confident Dachshund X puppy full of love to give.
He has a calm demeanour and loves everyone he meets. He’s affectionate but doesn’t always need to be right by you, but he’s never far away!
When his foster Mum is at work he spends his days in a play pen with his sister. He might do a little “where did everyone go” cry but settles quickly, and this is becoming less frequent the more familiar he becomes with the routine. He would likely benefit from having another doggy friend around or someone home more often than not.
Nike loves his lick mat of peanut butter and his IQ toy, preferring the kibble in the IQ toy over the kibble in his bowl! He is food motivated so training shouldn’t be a problem and he’s learning to sit before he is given his meals which he’s really good at.
He loves attention and will often roll over for a belly rub, where he does the cutest toothy smile! When he’s getting into things he shouldn’t he can be easily distracted with a toy. He likes his toys but prefers them after a good ol’ play with his sister.
He hasn’t met any children yet but with his calm nature he should be fine. He also hasn’t been introduced to any feline friends but again, he should be fine being so calm.
He sleeps soundly with one toilet break, even when his foster Mum has more! Nike is a ‘morning’ puppy and enjoys waking early to embrace the day and shower you with his love.
He is good in the car and curls up to sleep with his sister; isn’t afraid of thunderstorms, he’s not a massive fan of the vacuum but was curious enough to give it a sniff to investigate. He likes to see what his foster Mum is eating but learns quickly it’s not for him.
Nike is a calm, gentle boy and steals everyone's heart he meets. His foster family are really going to miss him!
