Nero is VERY hard not to love! He is a little warrior that has overcome so much in his short time on this planet, he has defeated parvo and fully recovered. Still managing to be the best little friend anyone could ask for!
Everyone who meets him falls in love with this little cuddle monster. He absolutely adores people and will happily sit at the feet (or lap) of whoever is closest. Judging by the size of his paws he’s going to grow into a gentle giant with a lot of love to give!
Nero came into the home very shy and timid, but has grown to be a lot more confident. He has no problem meeting new people, the more the merrier and he will give kisses to everyone.
He doesn’t jump (apart from the occasional excited hello), very gentle at taking treats and will patiently wait for all his meals. Nero is truely a dream, his recall is getting very good, and is very perceptive when he gets told no. He is getting very good at letting his foster mum know when he needs to go outside for toilet breaks.
He has beautiful manners and knows how to sit, lay down, shake & learning many more tricks. He’s an extremely fast learner and very eager to please.
Early mornings and nights he does get a sudden burst of energy and can get a bit nippy as hes teething, but he’s in training and getting better.
He is currently in rewarding calm behavior training which has been successful. It’s come in handy when meeting kids, where he will happily lie down and accept all the pokes, strokes and kisses.
He LOVES to lie down in bushes and do zoomies on the grass and will happily snooze on the couch all day.
The little man has a bit of separation anxiety as he had someone around full-time when he got sick, but I’m sure with some more training he will do great. Would be beneficial if someone could be home more often in the earlier days to ease him into it.
