Ned is such a lovely and sweet boy. He is a very smart little guy which has made him a dream to train with. He loves using enrichment toys or a training session to earn his dinner.
Since being in care he has learnt so much. We have learnt sit, stay, shake, lie down, come, spin, place, touch and a few other fancy ones - including manners with food and boundaries (doors). He is also learning to heel on the lead at the moment, which he is picking up beautifully. Ned is fully toilet trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside.
He is very relaxed. You will often find him relaxing in his crate or waiting patiently by his food bowl in hopes of a snack when inside.
He likes to be both inside and outside, and isn't fussed on spending time by himself. He happily sleeps in his crate all night without making a noise.
He is very sensible with small children and won’t jump up. He loves to be around people and other dogs.
HEALTH WAIVER:
Ned was involved in a motor vehicle accident which caused a hairline fractures of his pelvis and a fracture of the top of his left leg (femur).
These fractures were re-xrayed 8 weeks after the incident and they have all healed. The muscles of his left leg are still slightly smaller (atrophied) than his right because he hasn't been using his left leg as much as his right.
