Meet Murphy - the gentle giant with a heart of gold!
Murphy is one big softie who is convinced he's a lap dog - despite his size! His greatest joys in life are cuddles, pats, and simply being by the side of his favourite people.
Murphy absolutely adores his humans, including children. He loves a game of fetch, has a wonderfully goofy personality, and is often unaware of just how big he is. For this reason, he would be best suited to a family with dog-savvy children aged 6 years and over.
Murphy thrives on companionship and would be happiest in a home where someone is around more often than not. When left alone, he prefers relaxing indoors on the couch with his favourite toys. A secure yard with fencing at least 6 feet high will be essential to keep this big boy safe.
He already knows basic commands such as sit and will happily drop the ball during a game of fetch. Murphy is currently working on his recall and is responding well to a whistle. As he is highly food motivated, he enjoys learning and should continue to excel with ongoing positive reinforcement training.
