Hi, I’m Merlot! I’m a little timid in new situations but once I’m comfortable I am very friendly and affectionate.
I can be a little scared of other dogs at first as I came from a home with heaps of other dogs and they did pick on me a bit. I am in care with a few very friendly dogs big and small and they have given me time and space that I need, I know like to play with the other dogs at my foster home.
I’m toilet and crate trained and sleep through the night. My foster mum has a cat, and we have met, I was really scared, I haven’t seen one of them before but I was curious - I think with time we could be friends.
I like cuddles and sitting in the sun on a nice winter’s day. I would be happy as an only dog or with another dog friend who may ignore me until I can build some confidence.
