Maisy is a gorgeous, affectionate girl who is ready to find her forever home! She has a heart full of love for everyone she meets—whether they have two legs or four.
Â
Maisy came into the care of Lucky Paws Rescue after being found pregnant and alone. She’s since raised her five beautiful puppies, and now that they’ve all embarked on their own journeys, it’s Maisy’s turn to find a loving family to call her own.
Â
This cuddle bug thrives on companionship and will happily soak up all the pats and snuggles you can offer. She is a gentle, family-oriented dog who adores being part of everyday life.
Â
WHAT MAISY LOVES:
Adventures:Â Maisy loves going on outdoor adventures! Whether that's long walks, exploring new trails, and dog friedly hikes. Car rides are a big highlight for her, she enjoys sticking her head out the window, feeling the breeze, and taking in all the exciting smells.
Beach Days:Â Her happy place is the beach! She loves splashing around in the shallow water.
Â
SMART AND TRAINABLE:
Maisy is not just a pretty face—she’s a quick learner who has already mastered commands like sit, lay down, shake, stay, and more. She’s also fantastic on the lead, making walks with her an absolute breeze.
Â
MAISY’S PERSONALITY:
Maisy is very food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding for both her and her foster humans. She’s currently working on gaining a bit of weight and loves her extra treats and meals as part of her health journey.
Â
She gets along wonderfully with her foster dog sibling, a playful 1-year-old Staffy. They enjoy romping around together and then curling up for naps. Maisy is also respectful of the household cat’s space and is indifferent toward her most of the time, making her a great fit for a home with dog-savvy cats.
Â
Maisy has great manners at mealtime—she’ll sit and wait patiently for her food. She’s also crate-trained and sleeps soundly in her crate at night, which helps her feel safe and secure.
Â
WHAT MAISY NEEDS:
Maisy would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time to shower her with love and attention. While she’d enjoy a canine companion, she’d also do wonderfully as the only dog in a home where she’s the center of attention.
Â
A secure yard with 5–6 foot fencing is a must to keep her safe.
