Hey there, nice to meet you! I'm Lorenzo, a handsome charming lovebug with a big heart.
I may be deaf but that does not slow me down. I am your typical cheeky, playful and inquisitive puppy who just loves life.
Life however will look a little different for me, and I will need a special home able to commit to my training and understand what it means to care for a hearing impaired dog.
I am attentive and affectionate towards people and I thrive in the company of others dogs. I love spending time exploring the yard with my fur siblings, snuggling with humans and playing with my toys.
Being a deaf pup in this big world can be a little frightening, my foster mum is currently working with me to expose me to as much as possible to prepare me for life.
We are currently working on toilet training and basic commands, I am incredibly food motivated and eager to please.
Coming from a busy home with other dogs, cats and young children I am very well socialised, and a friend to everyone.
Having another dog in my new home is quite important; it will help me to settle, feel at ease and also learn - so much of my behaviour and understanding is mirrored from being around other dogs.
If left alone I can become quite vocal as l tend to worry and fret, but with company I am quite alright to be left at home whilst my family go out for a few hours.
Around the home I currently enjoy open access to both indoor and outdoor spaces, I love to be included in the family and feel most comfortable when I can see my people.
My ideal home would be with a family or couple that are home more often then not.
At night time I sleep quite soundly as the external noises of the world do not bother me. I like to sleep on my dog bed beside my foster mum, where I feel most safe.
I am still only very young with lots of learning to do, my new family will need to commit to my ongoing training so that I can grow to be a beautifully well rounded dog.
