Floki is a big boy with an even bigger heart. He will dance with joy when you come home and lie at your feet or sit with his head on your lap just to gaze at you lovingly. This loyal boy will make you and your property feel safe with his big dog bark but he's really just a cuddly bear.
In his ideal world he would be snuggled on the couch with you but he has quickly learned to respond to commands including sit, drop, leave it, wait, gently, and come. Floki has come from a rural property where his owner, unfortunately, had a terminal illness. He really, really loves meeting new people, discovering the wonders of the city and he gets along well with other dogs.
He is fully house trained, sleeps all night long inside and lives up to the Norse meanings of his name as an adventurer and clever boy. Through no fault of his own, Floki was never taught to walk on a lead so this is the one area in which he'll need patience and a kind, strong forever person of his own.
