Lizzie is a sweet natured and gentle girl who has so much love to give. She is very shy and takes time to adjust.
Her sweet and timid nature means she can be unsure of new things but with lots of love and patience her personality shines through.
She’s not fussed by other dogs – people are her focus. And could do well on her own, with enough exercise and socialisation. She’s fine with seeing dogs from a distance, just not nose to nose. But can be friends with dogs eventually with training and confidence building and slow introductions.
Lizzie is very food motivated so can easily be taught tricks and basic manners with treats - currently in training. She loves her food so much and one of her favourite daily enrichments is a kong. Lizzie would love a family willing to continue her training, socialisation, mental and physical stimulation to help reach her full potential.
Lizzie would love a home where people are at home more often than not. As Lizzie is timid, children can be overwhelming to her, so prefers adults only. She’s happiest when with her people, she loves to follow her humans around and loves to receive pats. And thrives off love and affection.
Lizzie also sleeps all through the night without a peep.
All Lizzie wants is for a special someone that will reciprocate all the love she has to share with them!
