Hey there! I’m Liquorice, your new best friend!
I'm a laidback boy, whos happy to do my own thing but even happier when I get to spend my time with you.
I am very intelligent and well mannered, I learn fast and I'm eager to please. I have learnt to sit and wait for my food with an "ok" command to eat. I walk well on lead and am well behaved when offleash, staying close by with improving recall.
I travel well in the car and enjoy going on adventures, I love the water!
I currently live in a busy home with other pets and young children so I am very well socialised.
Whilst I adore my small humans, I am only a baby myself. I can become over excited and boisterous at times during play, my foster mum is working to teach me gentle play. For this reason I would be best suited to children over 6years or a dog home with savvy children.
I get along very well with other dogs and enjoy their company, I would love a with another playful dog. I have also been exposed to cats, I am curious but respect their space. With a slow introduction I would be fine to share a home with a feline friend.
At night I sleep soundly in my crate, you won't hear a peep from me until morning. I’ve been left home alone for periods of time in the company of other dogs, and I’ve handled it really well.
I love spending time both indoors and outdoors, so I’d love a home where I can enjoy both. Allowed to explore, adventure and snooze in the sun during the day, then in the evening snuggle up with my family on the couch.
As I am still young, I will need a family who is committed to my ongoing training so that I may grow to be a well rounded dog.
