I am well mannered and clever. I know the basic commands of sit, down, stay and place! And I respect your boundaries too.
I’d love to follow you around the house, including the bathroom. I’d hate to see you leave the house without me but I’ll be good and wait patiently for you to be back home.
I love going on walks and I’m good on my lead. I’m also a good security dog! When the door bell rings I will be sure to warn you of any intruders!
I’m an anxious pup that might take a while to settle down and warm up to you. When I’m feeling anxious, I need a place/crate to retreat and burrow myself in. I have a habit of sucking cloth to calm myself. I’m crate trained and I can sleep in the crate throughout the night. I’m toilet trained too! I am good with other dogs big and small however any dog in the home will need to let me be the boss (I am mostly suited to submissive males), I have previously lived with medium sized male dog friends.
As I was treated badly in the past, I have learnt to protect myself. I can be quite vocal when I feel uncomfortable or threatened. This means I growl and snarl when I am scared. Please understand that it takes time for me to adjust and trust you.
I’m looking for a person/family that is patient and is willing to take their time to build my trust! As I’m a sensitive pup, I’ll require a quiet and calm environment.
I’m afraid of men and more suited for someone who only has females in their home and has some experience with dogs who have insecurities. So ladies, if you think you’re the right fit for me, please arrange for a meet and greet.
