Hey I'm Layla! .. a sweet, gentle, friendly girl who's all heart. Full of love and affection, I promise to be your best friend and companion in life, all I want is to make you happy.
Due to my previous living arrangements, I can still be a little anxious and unsure. But give me a little time, patience and understanding, and watch me blossom.
I am fully house trained, with beautiful manners and obedience. I know all my basic commands, I sit and wait patiently for my food and have good recall. I'll walk beautifully on a lead, right by your side as we enjoy some outdoors adventures together.
I travel well in the car and I'm fully crate trained. I sleep soundly through the night in my crate, greeting you in the morning with a happy wagging tail and rolling for some tummy scratches.
I may be a quiet girl around the home, but I really come alive when I see a ball. I love a game of fetch, I'll even return the ball and step off when told to "leave”.
I am cat friendly, having previously lived with them and good with children. Currently I live with four young children aged 3 - 9 in foster, though I love my little people and I'm incredibly loving and gentle. I do appreciate the a calmer, quieter home - older, or dog savvy children who will respect my space and be gentle with me.
My ideal home would be with a couple or family who are ready to show my what it truly means to be loved and have a place to call home .. in return I would open up my heart to you!
Whilst I do not mind the company of other dogs, I would be just a happy as an only pet if my new family were to be home often. My new family would be happy to allow me inside access where I can curl up on the dog bed or snooze in my crate, feeling safe, loved and part of the family.
