I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Kip

I'm Available
Kip is a sweet and affectionate girl who thrives on human companionship. She wants to be by your side and be part of everything that is going on in your household. She currently lives in a foster home with two adults and three canine foster siblings.

Kip is a social girl who likes people, children and other dogs. She is a playful and energetic pup. She is a rather athletic girl and loves to run, so will need regular exercising to keep her happy.

Kip has impeccable house manners: she waits patiently for her food and for her fur siblings to finish eating, she moves when asked and understands words “no”, “leave it”. “stay” and “come”. She is quiet and content at home most of the time.

Kip is kind and incredibly tolerant without a mean bone in her body. She gets along beautifully with all dogs large and small and is respectful of their personal space. She is happy to share food, toys and a bed with other dogs.  She will be equally happy in a household with other dogs or as the only dog to soak up all the attention.

Kip is very intelligent and eager to please. She is obedient and is quite intuitive about what you would like her to do. She has a good recall and is a quick learner. Training her will be easy.

Kip is fully toilet trained and would use a doggy door to take herself outside. She sleeps soundly through the night too.

Kip adores car rides. She would move herself to the front seat and would look ahead taking in the scenery. Big trucks particularly fascinate her.

She has a voice and would talk to you in her own soft “wouf wouf” language. She will let you know of her most urgent needs, such as breakfast, and often of her opinions about what’s going on at the time.

Kip is a rare and special dog. Despite a difficult start in life, all she wants is to love and to please. She is looking for a home where she will be loved back and her kind, beautiful nature will be fully appreciated.

It is worth noting that her inquisitive Kelpie mind wants to be occupied. She is very keen to go out there and explore, to see and do everything there is to see and to do. She will be suited to an active, younger family who will take her with them wherever they go and whatever they do. If she can go to work with someone every day, it will be perfect. A home where she is expected to stay alone with nothing to do for hours won’t be right for her.

Kip is looking for a forever home with her humans by her side more often than not, a home willing to continue her training, socialisation and mental and physical stimulation to help her to live the best life she so richly deserves. In return, Kip will reward you with a canine lifetime of unconditional loyalty, kindness and love.
