Kip is a sweet and affectionate girl who thrives on human companionship. She wants to be by your side and be part of everything that is going on in your household. She currently lives in a foster home with two adults and a 9 year old female Border Collie, a 2 year old male Poodle and 2 small Terriers.
Kip learns the house manners quickly: she waits patiently for her food and for her fur siblings to finish eating, she moves when asked and understands words “no” and “leave it”. She is quiet and content at home most of the time.
Kip is a social girl who likes people, children and other dogs. She is a playful and energetic pup. She is a rather athletic girl and loves to run, so will need regular exercise to keep her happy.
Kip is kind and incredibly tolerant without a mean bone in her body. She gets along beautifully with all dogs large and small and is respectful of their personal space. She is happy to share food, toys and a bed with other dogs.
Kip is very intelligent and eager to please. She makes good progress learning basic commands and walks nicely on the lead. Kip is fully toilet trained and would use a doggy door to take herself outside.
Kip sleeps soundly through the night on her parents’ bed.
Kip doesn’t like being left at home alone for long periods of time at this stage, although she improves with practice. She will need a home where people are at home most of the time, at least at the beginning until she settles. She will be happy in a household with other dogs or as the only dog to soak up all the attention.
Kip is looking for a forever home with her humans by her side more often than not, a home willing to continue her training, socialisation and mental and physical stimulation to help her reach her full potential. Kip will reward you with a canine lifetime of loyalty, kindness and love.
