Katie is a 4-year-old staffy who is a quiet, and gentle soul.
Katie is timid and takes time to feel comfortable, but once she does, she’s very affectionate and enjoys being close to her people. She’s happy to meet visitors at home and doesn’t show any signs of separation anxiety, making her a great companion for someone who works during the day.
She is toilet trained, doesn’t bark, and has no guarding or destructive behaviours—your shoes are safe with her (she might carry them around, but she won’t chew them).
She’s fine around other dogs but is currently living as an only dog. She gets along beautifully with a gentle 10-year-old child, making her a lovely match for a calm family.
Katie enjoys a short daily walk and prefers quiet streets to start, due to her timid nature. She may grow to enjoy longer outings as her confidence builds. She’s not overly playful but has a couple of toys she likes. Mostly, she’s happy relaxing on her mat or snuggled up on the couch.
Katie would thrive in a peaceful home with someone who can offer patience, gentle introductions, and a consistent routine. In return, she’ll be a loyal, calm, and loving companion.
