Hello, my name is Kala.
My foster mum says I am the most wonderful dog.
Everything about Kala is beautiful – from her pretty face to her warm tender heart.
Even though her breed would indicate a very full on active dog, Kala is the opposite – a couch potato, she is very gentle, quiet and loves nothing more than being near you, patted, cuddled and loved. As she is still is a little shy and timid, a calm household would be best for her as well as someone home most of the time.
Kala plays so well with her foster brother, a 2 year old de-sexed male staffy, who is very full on and in her face most of the time, but Kala in her gentle manner put him in his place when they first met and now they are the best of friends.
As Kala was from an outback pound and likely a farm dog fail, she is scared of being on a leash, so would need someone patient to continue to show her positive reinforcement and help build her confidence, we have been slowly making some positive steps.
Night time sleeping has been great, we have been working with ‘on your bed’. Kala sleeps inside and loves being close to the family.
