Hurley is a lovely pup! He is shy, quiet and low energy.
He absolutely loves other dogs so we would love to see him in a home with another dog friend. He isn’t overly playful, he just loves the odd daily play. When inside he likes to sleep on his favourite spot on the couch. He is toilet trained and will let you know when he needs to go to toilet outside.
Hurley is an old man in a young body, he will let you know when he wants something by talking.
Hurley did not have a good start of life so he is very scared of new people or environment so he will need a family that understands and will be patient with him.
HEALTH WAIVER:
Hurley can have episodes of Shar-Pei recurrent fever syndrome. This syndrome is triggered by stress.
It is a hereditary condition that affects nearly one in four Shar-Pei dogs. Affected dogs experience recurrent episodes of fever and inflammation, with no identifiable underlying cause.
We recommend reading up on the condition before applying.
