Meet Honey!
Honey is a beautiful 3-year-old Border Collie cross, with a heart full of love and a mind rich with curiosity. She is a loyal, gentle soul who forms deep bonds with her people and truly thrives on connection.
Honey adores cuddles and has the sweetest habit of wrapping her paws and arms around you while you’re sitting. She is wonderfully gentle and patient with children, making her a natural family companion. Always attentive and calm, Honey is a fantastic listener and would happily sit through story time or support young readers with their homework.
She’s still discovering the joy of toys and may need a little encouragement to learn how fun playtime can be. Honey would suit a home where she can receive plenty of love, attention, and companionship. While she is content being at home while you’re at work, she truly blossoms when she has people around.
Honey gets along well with other dogs, however, would do best with calm, social, and easy-going dogs.
Recently, Honey was diagnosed with heartworm and has begun treatment. She is currently on strict rest for the next month, but this suits her perfectly. She loves lounging, relaxing, and watching the world go by.
Honey is a truly special girl with so much love to give. She’s ready to find her furever home where she can feel safe, cherished, and part of the family.
HEALTH WAIVER:
Honey is currently being treated for heartworm. This treatment is included in the adoption fee and will need to be done at an approved Lucky Paws Vet in SE QLD. We will also pay for another heartworm test in 9 months. If the dog is still positive Lucky Paws will pay for another round of heartworm treatment at our approved Lucky Paws vet.
