Hi Everyone! My name is Havard but everyone calls me Harvey and I really prefer it!

I’m the perfect mix of calm, goofy and charming. I love being around my humans, including the kiddos who are over 4, and often follow everyone around, getting pats, belly scratches and giving cuddles. I really need someone who is home often as I get lonely and I really need another female dog companion, I just love company!

I am coming out of my shell after my bad past, I was just left in a backyard all my life with little to no human interaction. I’ve been enjoying playing with toys and chasing them. I can be shy and scared of loud noises & fast movements as well as most men. I am making progress with the help of my foster family.

I’m crate trained and often find comfort in there if I am feeling overwhelmed. I have enjoyed car rides, like treats and will sit and wait for my food. I am very smart, having some commands down pat, I am toilet trained and I am cheeky apparently.

Sometimes I jump up and give big hugs, but I am being told this isn't polite unless I am called up, I like to jump up and have cuddles on the bed, dig in the sand pit and lay in it to cool off, and I am getting used to the leash. I get a little wary of the hand coming for me to attach it, but I walk beautifully when it is on.

I just need someone who can give me the time and patience I deserve, I will make a beautiful companion for a family.
