Gidget has a beautifully calm and easy-going nature. She is incredibly intelligent, eager to learn and highly food motivated, making training an absolute pleasure. She's already crate trained, sleeps soundly through the night and patiently waits each morning to be let out — a little angel with wonderful manners. She knows how to sit, is doing exceptionally well with stay and walks calmly beside you on the lead, making outings together a pleasure.
She gets along beautifully with other dogs and currently lives with an older German Shepherd, whom she absolutely adores. Gidget loves to play but is wonderfully respectful of her older companion's space. She is confident without being boisterous, with a gentle, curious personality that enjoys exploring the world just as much as quietly sitting back and observing it. While she loves the company of other dogs, she's also perfectly content entertaining herself when needed.
Gidget would thrive in a home where her family is around often and happy to include her in everyday life. She would love a friendly canine companion, but with her confident and loyal German Shepherd nature, she could also flourish as an only dog, provided she has a family who will give her plenty of love, companionship, enrichment and purpose.
