I've found my furever family!

Hello, I’m Georgie – and yes, I am super cute and lots of fun. But I’m going to be upfront with you: I’m not an easy dog. I’m looking for a very special, understanding human with experience in behaviour and an awareness of small dog syndrome. If you’re willing to see past my challenges, I promise I’m worth it.

I’ve had a really rough trot in life, and all I want now is love, patience and stability. I’ve been in many homes, I’m not broken, I just need someone to work with me and make me feel safe and loved. 

My homes returned me for the following reasons….. someone decided they didn’t want a dog after all, or I pull on lead when I see other dogs so I was returned. Grooming is a big trigger for me – especially if people are rough or don’t read my signals, I was not treated kindly by a groomer when I was younger and especially HATE my face being done by someone I don’t know and trust, so again I was returned because I didn’t like the groomer.

Each time, I tried my best… and each time, I was left behind again...

Because of this, I need a home that understands commitment. I need security, consistency and someone who won’t give up on me when things get challenging. I’ve already come such a long way, and with the right guidance, I can continue to grow into an even better boy.

Now for the good stuff…

Despite everything, I am a huge personality in a small body. I’m an independent little man who makes my foster mum laugh every single day.

I love adventures and going for walks – and don’t let my short legs fool you! I love a good walk!

I’m a wonderful companion and a very affectionate boy. I adore cuddles, sitting on laps, and curling up to watch TV with my people.

I like other dogs, as long as they understand that I like to be the boss. I enjoy playing with my foster brother, stealing his toys, and generally keeping life entertaining. I also love water and would be over the moon if my new family took me to the beach one day.

I don’t shed, which helps keep the house clean, but I will need regular grooming from a kind, patient groomer who understands my boundaries and helps me feel safe while looking handsome.

The home I’m looking for

I need an experienced owner who:

• Understands behavioural challenges and small dog syndrome
• Is patient, calm and consistent
• Can provide long-term stability and security
• Is willing to work with my quirks rather than expect perfection

If you have lots of love to give, are prepared to put in the time and understanding I need, and want a loyal companion who will love you back with his whole heart (and make you laugh along the way), then maybe… just maybe… I’m the boy for you.

I don’t want to be rejected again. I just want my forever.
