Hi, my name is Gavin and I'm a sweet, goofy and placid guy who loves to cuddle up with my foster parents and play with my fur sister.
I love everyone I meet! My foster parents describe me as the biggest cuddle bug ever because I love to hang out with them wherever they are. I am also happy just chilling out by myself or playing with my furry foster sister.
I’m currently living in a loving foster home with a big furry foster sister (a 2-year-old female Labrador X, who likes to run around with me in between our regular naps). I like chasing balls, playing tug-o-war, running through the sprinkler and following my foster mum around when she waters the garden. I’m great with other doggy companions, and my foster parents think I'd be perfectly fine on my own as well.
I can sit for treats, come when called and am toilet trained. (I generally let my foster family know when I need to go to the toilet by waiting at the door). I also happily sleep through the night on my bed.
I'm learning to wait before I eat and to walk well on lead, but I’m still learning and have lots to learn, so my new family should expect to continue my training to make me the best big guy I can be. I do currently pull on lead but learning how to control my excitement.
I am very cuddly and love to nap in front of my family when they are watching tv. I have so much love to give to everyone I meet. Oh, did I forget to mention that I love pats? If you sit on the floor with me I’ll come and lay my head in your lap for a pat and then roll over for a belly scratch!
