Meet Fox: Your Future Best Friend and Snuggle Buddy!
Fox is a handsome Bull Arab cross who is looking for the forever home he truly deserves.
Though he is young, Fox has already had a big journey. After recently parting ways with his siblings, he joined a busy foster home of six, including four children aged 3 to 9. He shares his space with three 3-month-old foster puppies, and is even learning all about the resident chickens and ducks!
Fox is a gentle soul who can be a little reserved at first. Fast movements and loud noises still startle him, but his progress in just one week has been amazing. He is finding his confidence, starting to play one-on-one with toys, and loves interacting with the other puppies.
Above all, Fox just wants to be near his humans. He will loyally wait for you at the door and absolutely loves to snuggle, especially on the couch or bed. When it is time for sleep, he settles beautifully overnight in his crate right next to your bed, with no accidents.
Fox adores children and happily laps up all the affection they give. He is highly food-motivated, which makes training a breeze! Because of his rough start, he needs to be fed separately from other dogs - sadly he didn’t have access to a lot of food. However, he is learning quickly that he is safe now and responds wonderfully to positive redirection.
While he is still building his confidence around new things like car rides or stepping away from his human, he is already learning to sit on command, especially when a tasty treat is involved.
