Fletcher is a beautiful young man, looking for a home where he will be loved, safe and secure. He had a rough start to life, but he has so much love to give. He enjoys lying on the couch having cuddles and smooches, or at your feet having a nap. But he’s also independent and will take himself outside to play with some toys.
He can be a little bit shy when he meets a new person or dog, but warms up very quickly and has been lovely with both humans and dogs. He’s a very smart boy and has been learning each day; sitting, coming when called, waiting for his dinner.
He would thrive in a home where someone can continue to teach him new skills and take him for a walk each day to build his confidence. He sleeps in a crate each night, and happily runs in at bed time and doesn’t make a noise until it’s time to get up. He’s toilet trained and hasn’t had any accidents inside the house.
Fletcher will be a wonderful companion for someone, he loves being around you no matter what you’re doing. He has met a few children and was very gentle, he enjoyed all the hugs and attention. He would be best suited to having someone home a fair bit, or if left at home he would do well with another dog companion.
