Hi, I'm Ebony. I'm a shy, affectionate, playful girl who loves snacks, lap cuddles, playing with my little foster siblings, and exploring outside in the company of my foster mum.
When I came into care, I was very scared and confused. I took a long time to trust anyone and spent many days at the back of my crate. Watching the other dogs around me enjoy love and safety eventually brought me out, and now in the safety of my trusted foster mum, I'm learning that life can be good and fun.
With patience and gentle care, I've started to relax but still find new people and situations scary. My furever family will need to be very patient and kind to me, so I learn to feel safe in a new environment.
I've only just started venturing outside, so I'm learning to toilet there - although without my foster mum with me, I'll be too scared to go out alone.
I will need the company of another dog, preferably playful and small. I'm hanging out with big dogs as well as small at the moment, but the big dog play can be overwhelming. I don't like the cats who live here.
