Meet Duke, a handsome five-year-old gentleman with a distinguished grey muzzle that gives him the look of a wise old grandpa – but don’t be fooled, he’s still full of love and life!
Duke is a loyal, well-mannered, and incredibly sweet-natured boy who truly enjoys the simple pleasures. He loves going for walks, hopping in the car for adventures, and spending quality time with his favourite people. At home, Duke is happiest soaking up pats and cuddles, curling up on the couch to watch animal shows, or relaxing in the garden with a good chew.
He has settled beautifully into his foster home and clearly feels safe and loved. Duke is comfortable being left on his own for a few hours and, according to the neighbours, he is wonderfully quiet while his carers are out – no barking at all.
Currently the only dog in his foster home, Duke hasn’t had much recent dog-to-dog social time. However, his gentle and friendly nature means he approaches new people and situations with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a happy heart.
As a larger lad who occasionally enjoys a burst of playful “zoomies”, Duke would be best suited to a home with children over 6 years who can share in his fun while giving him the calm, loving environment he thrives in.

HEALTH WAIVER: Duke can suffer from seasonal atopic dermatitis, so does need to be bathed in Malaseb Shampoo. He has received a dose of a Cytopoint injection which has helped his skin greatly.
