Doris is a sweet, gentle girl who is very shy. She’s still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. People, noises, being indoors, and even wearing a lead are all things she’s working hard to overcome. Despite her worries, Doris has made incredible progress and continues to blossom every day.

- Shy but affectionate in her own way – she may allow a belly rub now and then, though she’s not a cuddler just yet.
- Her tail never stops wagging, even when she’s feeling nervous.
- Loves carrying a toy in her mouth for comfort – it’s her little security blanket.

- Short and stocky, weighing 15.5 kg.
- She doesn’t shed as much as a normal Staffy

Behaviour:
- Happy to be left alone at home.
- Shows no interest in wildlife (birds, toads, lizards).
- Travels well in the car.
- Still learning to walk on a lead – she doesn’t pull, but prefers to stay still for now.

- Calm, patient owner willing to help her overcome her fears.
- Would thrive in a home with another dog – she gets along well with dogs of all sizes.
- Best suited to a family with older children (10+ years).
